CARTAGENA — Colombian police seize 7,646 kilos of cocaine mixed into a cargo of powdered panela at the port of Cartagena, the largest seizure at that terminal in a decade.
Officers flagged the shipment through intelligence analysis and cargo profiling, and President Abelardo de la Espriella said it was bound for the Netherlands and valued it at more than $200 million.
The U.S. Embassy credited weeks of DEA-police intelligence sharing, though police credit Colombian units for the operation, and no arrests or responsible group have been announced.

Search Continues for Four Missing Salvadoran Troops in Haiti as U.N. Council Hears Calls for Their Return
PORT-AU-PRINCE — Four Salvadoran aviation technicians serving with the U.N.-backed Gang Suppression Force (GSF) are missing after gangs attacked their armored vehicle in the Santo area of Croix-des-Bouquets, and the force is continuing ground and air searches with Haitian forces.
At the U.N. Security Council, U.S. Ambassador Mike Waltz said the four are believed to have survived and vowed to bring them home, while El Salvador’s ambassador condemned the ambush and urged the Council to mobilize all available resources.
No group has claimed the attack, though the area is contested by the Chèn Méchan, Kraze Barye and 400 Mawozo gangs, and the missing airmen are the first serious test of El Salvador’s commitment to the Haiti mission.
